Welcome

Welcome to 2023-2024 School Year!

My name is Candida Price. It is my ninth year teaching at Petersburg Primary School.  I previously taught first grade. This is my fourth year teaching second grade.   I earned my BS in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Coker University in 2014. I earned my Master of Education in Literacy  Studies degree at Coker University in 2017. I am dedicated to making this school year terrific and productive for every one of my students. 

I was born and raised in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. I am married and have two children, a son and a daughter whom I love dearly.  I have a beloved pet named Kingston. I attended the Pageland area schools and I wanted to give back to my community by teaching in the area I was born in. I am dedicated to teaching and encouraging my students to do their best. I  believe in supporting  my students in the classroom and the community. It is my goal to reach every student where they are. I look forward to building relationships in and outside the classroom. I am a firm believer that it takes a village to educate a child.
