Mrs. Riggins' 4K Class!!
Hello and Welcome to my classroom!! My name is Bethany Riggins. The 2024-2025 school year will be my third year as a PreK teacher here at Petersburg Primary. Before becoming a PreK teacher, I taught two years as a kindergarten teacher. Prior to coming to teach in South Carolina, I taught Special Education and NC PreK across the state line in North Carolina. I graduated from Saint Bonaventure University, with a B.S. in Elementary Education and Special Education. In 2017, I completed the Early Childhood education program at Western Carolina University.
I was born and raised in the small town of Allegany, NY, located in upstate New York. I moved to North Carolina not long after graduating from college and began my teaching career. I have a cat named Elvira. I enjoy spending time and traveling with my family and friends.
I look forward to an amazing year ahead and can't wait to see how each and everyone of you grow as independent little learners.
