Welcome to 2024-2025 School Year!

Hello families and friends!

My name is Candida Price, and I am thrilled to welcome you to an exciting new school year! This year is especially meaningful for me as I celebrate my 10th year in education — a journey filled with joy, growth, and the honor of helping young minds flourish.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in 2014 from Coker University, and later completed my Master’s in Literacy in 2017, also from Coker. Education has always been my passion, and I believe every child has the potential to grow into a confident and successful reader.

Currently, I serve as a Reading Interventionist, where I work closely with students to build strong literacy skills that will support them both in and out of the classroom. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching a child light up when they realize, “I can read!”

Outside of school, I’m a proud mom of two wonderful children, who keep me laughing, learning, and inspired every day.

I am looking forward to partnering with you to make this year one of growth, encouragement, and success. Here’s to a joyful and meaningful 2025–2026 school year!
