MS. POWELL - Assistant Principal

Hello! Welcome to Petersburg Primary School! My name is Nancy R. Powell. I am the Assistant Principal. I taught First Grade for five years here and Reading Recovery for two years. I graduated from Coker College with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I have a minor in Spanish. I have a Masters in Educational Administration from Columbia International University. I have an ESL certification from the College of Charleston. I was proud to represent PPS as Teacher of the Year in 2020-2021. It is a privilege to be back, and I look forward to working with everyone this year.
