UPDATE: The district has been notified that Governor Henry McMaster’s will order the closing of all South Carolina schools beginning Monday, March 16 through the end of the month, with the possibility of extending the closure for a longer period. In accordance with this order the Chesterfield County School District will be closed beginning Monday, March 16. This includes the cancellation of all afterschool activities and sports.
The Governor’s order is allowing district staff to voluntarily report for work to complete plans for eLearning or distance learning, as well as meal programs similar to our summer meal programs. District staff will receive a separate email with this information.
This is a rapidly changing situation, so please check our website at https://www.chesterfieldschools.org/ for updates. We will continue communicate on our social media platforms and via email during the course of this closure.
