Registration

Parents of new and returning students are able to complete registration online. All Chesterfield County School District families are encouraged to have a Parent Portal account to complete their children’s school registration materials online.  Families will then use the PowerSchool Parent Portal to access the Registration.

For parents with a Parent Portal account, how do I get started?

Visit www.chesterfieldschools.org and click on the PowerSchool Parent Portal icon.  From the Parent Portal:

1.       Select the student you wish to register along the top.

2.       Select the Student Registration Icon on the left side for 2019-2020.

3.       Agree to the terms and conditions.

4.       Click Begin Forms.

For those parents without a Parent Portal account, an email with a snap code will be sent that is an access code to their student’s registration.

Visit www.chesterfieldschools.org and click on the Returning Student Registration Link across the top of the page.  From this link:

1.                  Enter the snap code provided in your email.

2.                  Read over the introduction.

3.                  Click next and begin the form.

Parents who register online will still need to go to the schoolduring on-site registration days of August 6 to show proof of residency and pay any fees.

Parents with students who will be new to Chesterfield County Schools must still register their children at the school during on-site registration. As a reminder, a tax notice, a landline telephone bill, or a utility bill such as water, gas and electric that contains a street address will be accepted as proof of residency. A cell phone bill will not be accepted as proof of residency.

Parents who would like to complete online registration using a computer at the school are welcome to come in to complete the process and pay any fees.
