Welcome
Hello everyone, my name is Aaliyah Bittle! This is my first year, and I am a second-grade teacher, and I am so excited to be a part of the Petersburg Primary team. I recently graduated from Coker University with a bachelor's in science, majoring in psychology (class of 2023). I am currently enrolled in the Teachers of Tomorrow program, where I will gain my certification through an alternative route. I am determined to help mold and shape these impressionable young minds to remain and or become excited about learning and their education.
I am the mother of two girls and three bonus sons that I share with my husband of four years. Our loving family also included two "fur babies", Creed (mini-Pomeranian), and Yellow (Labrador). I am a South Carolina native, born and raised in the "jewel city", the little town of Ruby. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, close friends, and my pets. I love to travel and experience new things, and I love to watch crime movies, shopping, and spend downtime at home. I attended and graduated from Chesterfield High School. I have been a dedicated worker of the state previously before joining the Petersburg team, working closely with the public, and learning how to communicate goals and needs effectively. I am determined to bring those skills to the school year of 2023-2024 school year. My goal is to help each student reach their potential and accomplish academic goals. I look forward to meeting and building these minds with you!
